Playoffs

Orlando ended up winning 40 games....if the Knicks had stayed healthy, they would have had to actually pick it up somewhat towards the end of the season in order to match or beat that. It would have been interesting.

Instead, it was bitterly disappointing, except for the development of Mardy Collins.

38-39 wins was the pace we were on before the injuries hit with 20 or so games left in the season. we went 4-15 in our last 19 when we likely would have gone 10-9 if we had all our aces.

So yeah, we would have missed out by a game but if we do slightly better we may have ended in a tie with ORL for the 8 spot and own the tie breaker.

Anyway, making the playoffs is great for the youth but it may be better off that this team go into summer again with something to prove for next season.

We are NOT a playoff team buys because we are NOT in the playoffs.

You can change that next year. Man up.

Hey Kam,

Think Isiak will get in the grill of the players like that? He seems to have been more nurturing than tough all year long...

If we won more games, Orlando would have won at least 1 less game, so the 39 games we were on pace for woud have worked for us.

Here, dear readers, is the final resting place of all weary Knicks fans. Yes, here is where one comes when the Triangle refuses to have three sides, when biting one's lip from losing to win later is one loss too far,or when said fan simply hits 'rock' bottom. In short, "the ship be" eternally "sinking" here. Welcome aboard, rearrange the deck chairs as you please.
