3-14 since Victory Declared, I mean Significant Progress Certified.

Say the Knicks were to WIN their final two games, then they would match Larry Brown's record for the final 19 games of his season. Jeezuss......

Q: Why is Jerome James good enough to START when David Lee and Renaldo Balkman are healthy, yet not good enough to PLAY when both of the above are injured.

It becomes more and more obvious that Isiah expected Brown to take he Knicks to a playoff spot last year and when Brown didn't Isiah felt betrayed - thinking Brown tanked the season to make him look bad.

Now with a taste of his own medicine we see the Knicks for what they were and are - incomplete and profoundly flawed.

Lots of NY sportswriters are biting their lip about how the goalposts have moved to make the Knicks a success this year when they are a wholesale failure.

We still need a franchise player and we need - as Bo points out weekly - starters. We need real talent but are so tightly coupled to Isiah at so many levels that the chances of refreshing the roster are slim and none.

We are very close to Layden trade stalemate territory.

All Isiah has to do is say, "I like our team the way it is." I think he does.

Here, dear readers, is the final resting place of all weary Knicks fans. Yes, here is where one comes when James Dolan extends yet another contract, when the Knicks trade for yet another ambulatory star, or when said fan simply hits 'rock' bottom. In short, "the ship be" eternally "sinking" here. Welcome aboard, rearrange the deck chairs as you please.
