Pau Gasol

Is just what the doctor ordered. Blocks shots (a lot), defends, rebounds, scores from the post, scores mid range, scores lots of 3s. Of course, I don't think we can get him. Many other teams want him. So why not just go for Artest. He can probably be had on the cheap, and I'm sure he wants to be a knick.

Pau won't come cheap. The Bulls were offering Luol Deng, Thabo and an ending contract. How can we compete with that?

I guess we can't biz. Just wishful thinking. Like I said, I'd go for Artest.

If you want to get Pau, the first step could be drafting Marc Gasol this year.

Not advocating it, just noting Isiah likes unconventional picks and is said to be very manipulative.

Otherwise, Tiago Splitter would seem to be a good pick for us--can defend and is a big experienced rook (22, I believe).

Marcus Williams and Morris Almond sound interesting as wing players.

Nick Young and Brandon Rush are other shooters who could still be around when we draft.

Here, dear readers, is the final resting place of all weary Knicks fans. Yes, here is where one comes when the Triangle refuses to have three sides, when biting one's lip from losing to win later is one loss too far,or when said fan simply hits 'rock' bottom. In short, "the ship be" eternally "sinking" here. Welcome aboard, rearrange the deck chairs as you please.
