No-name Knicks Beat NBA Champion Spurs

The best stinkin' sports team in America beat the San Antonio Spurs tonight at MSG in OT.

Heroes abound; Amundson, Galloway, Shved, Aldrich, and company outlasted, outhustled, and out classed the Champion Spurs.  A Pyrrhic victory that may cost the Knicks a ping-pong ball or two but a game that gives us a taste of the champion caliber team that will be built on the backs of this season.

Kudos to the Knicks.

Very interesting posts Frank. You should re-post on escapefromelba like you did for a while. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem that a lot of the guys in there come over to read, and what you write here would add a lot of substance to the discussions.

Elba got too negative for me. I'm pretty happy with the way things are going and I got tired of the Phil bashing, Fisher bashing, and everybody sucks bashing.

I work in many businesses where difficult decisions have to be made and quite frankly I get what Jackson is doing and trying to do.

This team is becoming very good and has far fewer needs than everyone is anticipating. The talent is much better than the record.

Agree, but still have fun there including by laughing at some comments.

Necessities

Ye Newe Glory-torium

Here, dear readers, is the final resting place of all weary Knicks fans. Yes, here is where one comes when the Triangle refuses to have three sides, when biting one's lip from losing to win later is one loss too far,or when said fan simply hits 'rock' bottom. In short, "the ship be" eternally "sinking" here. Welcome aboard, rearrange the deck chairs as you please.
